1 B Annual Articulation meetings shall take place between Home School Parents/Guardian and 91自拍 to review this agreement to assure all parties that it continues to serve their mutual interests and provide student opportunities.
1 Article II The BOARD recognizes that 91自拍 is not obligated to offer any course on the FLDOE Dual Enrollment Equivalency list but that this list is used to determine eligible courses.
3 Eligibility and Access The Florida Department of Education Emergency Order ended on December 31st, 2020 and the section was removed.

4-5 Special Programs

Early Admissions Program: The Early Admissions Program is a full-time Dual Enrollment Program providing high school students the opportunity to earn both high school and college credits simultaneously. The Early Admissions Program processes are the same to that of Dual Enrollment with the following eligibility requirements.

Student Eligibility and Access:

  1. Students must be in 11th or 12th grade.
  2. Students must meet all placement test score requirements.
  3. Students must enroll in a minimum and not to exceed 12 college credit hours per semester.
  4. Students who fall below 12 college credit status are no longer part of the Early Admission Program but may be eligible to continue to participate in the Dual Enrollment Program.


Dual Enrollment Success Academy (DESA) Program: The Dual Enrollment Success Academy Program is for 12th grade students who have meet specific eligibility requirements and are seeking college credits prior to graduation. Specific program tracks and courses with a higher likelihood for success are made available for (DESA) students and can be found on the 91自拍 Dual Enrollment webpage. The Dual Enrollment Success Academy Program processes are the same to that of Dual Enrollment with the following eligibility requirements.

Student Eligibility and Access:

  1. Students must be in 12th grade.
  2. Students must take the PERT exam and scores must be submitted.
  3. Students may participate with a 106 PERT reading score.
  4. Students may participate in up to two courses in the Fall term and two courses in the Spring term.
5 Exceptions
  1. For exceptions, the Home School Official must complete and submit the Dual Enrollment Exceptions Request form with supporting documentation for the request to a local 91自拍 Official.
  2. Exceptions to the GPA requirement may be considered upon written documentation and approval from the Home School Official and the 91自拍 Official.
  3. A one semester extension of the student鈥檚 anticipated high school graduation date may be considered upon the submission of proof of enrollment of a current Home School program, a written request of the outstanding credits needed for high school graduation, and the Dual Enrollment Exceptions Request form. If the request is approved, students will be eligible to take courses that meet the high school graduation requirements reflected in the supporting documentation. with the following;
  4. Exceptions are not allowed for Special Programs.
5 Summer Enrollment
  1. Students will be eligible to enroll in a maximum of 12 credits over the summer.
  2. Students are eligible to enroll in a maximum of 6 credits in Summer Session A.
  3. Students are eligible to enroll in a maximum of 6 credits in Summer Session B .
  4. Students who were unsuccessful in a course in the Fall or Spring semester may retake the course during the Summer sessions at no cost, but must have an approval from their high school counselor and they must meet with their 91自拍 advisor prior to taking the course.
7 Grades
  1. A Letter grade of a 鈥淒鈥 may not always count as successful completion pursuant to state rule SBE Rule 6A-10.030 F.A.C.
  2. All grades are calculated into a students鈥 GPA and will appear on his/her college transcript.
  3. All grades, including 鈥淲鈥 for withdrawal, become part of the student鈥檚 permanent college transcript and may affect subsequent postsecondary admission and financial aid eligibility.
  4. A Letter grade of 鈥淚鈥 for which coursework is not completed by the end of the following semester will be converted to an 鈥淔鈥 or a 鈥淯鈥 (Unsatisfactory), depending upon the grading method of the class. Courses taken for U graded credit will not convert to any other type of grade.
    1. If a student receives an 鈥淚鈥, it is the sole responsibility of the student to satisfy the requirements for the course and notify the school when the final grade change posts.
    2. An 鈥淚鈥 must be reconciled before future dual enrollment eligibility is determined.
    3. If the result of the 鈥淚鈥 Incomplete is 鈥淯鈥 Unsatisfactory, the student must follow the rule for 鈥淯nsuccessful attempts鈥 in the Second and Third Course Attempts section.
7 Second and Third Course Attempts
  1. 1. Unsuccessful attempts and withdrawals
    1. Students needing to attempt courses more than once will be required to meet with their 91自拍 assigned advisor prior to any re-enrollment.
    2. Students who were unsuccessful in a course cannot take additional dual enrollment classes until they have retaken and completed that course.
    3. Students who withdraw from a course cannot take additional dual enrollment classes until they have retaken and completed that course.
    4. High school guidance counselors may recommend an alternative course jointly agreed upon by the student, and 91自拍 assigned advisor via the student鈥檚 Guided Pathway/Academic plan.
    5. Repeated course attempts will be at the student鈥檚 own expense or they may opt to enroll during the summer when no tuition is charged to the school district.
    6. Students must adhere to all of the 91自拍鈥檚 withdrawal procedures including talking with their instructor before withdrawing from a course.
  2. Third Course Attempts
    1. Students who are unsuccessful in a course two consecutive times will not be permitted to enroll for one term (Fall, Spring, or Full Summer) following the term in which they were suspended.
    2. For third course attempts, the Dual Enrollment Exceptions Request form must be submitted to the county 91自拍, by a School District Official, describing the reasons for the failed attempts and a plan of action for success.
    3. If a student is approved to take a course for a third time, they may incur a third attempt surcharge for that course and will be at the expense of the student during the Fall, Spring, or Summer semester.
11 Artilce III. Evaluation of the Agreement This agreement is subject to and shall conform to annual updates in the dual enrollment program. Updates to this agreement shall be made available on the 91自拍 dual enrollment webpage. New courses will be added to the DUAL ENROLLMENT EQUIVALENCY LIST once approved by the DOE.
